Product Highlights

The DI-158 Series of Starter Kits break new ground in price and performance, offering advanced features and options usually reserved for more expensive instruments. A channel scan list, high sample throughput rates, and an advanced computer interface are just some of the features that combine to produce a robust instrument that can be applied to nearly any data acquisition situation where low and high level signals need to be acquired to a PC.

The DI-158 offers an option of two programmable gain and full scale ranges. These USB devices are powered through the interface - no external power is required. Gain configurations are 1, 2, 4, and 8 with a full scale range of ±10 Volts. Also available is a version supporting gain factors of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512 with a full scale range of ±64 Volts.

High Sample Throughput

Sample throughput rates up to 14,400 samples per second are supported. The High Speed version of WinDaq/Lite Recording software is required to reach these high sample rates. WinDaq/Lite is limited to recording rates of 240 Hz throughput.

Easy to Connect and Use

Two built-in, 8-position screw terminal connectors allow easy and secure access to all DI-158 signal I/O connections without the need for extra options.

Small Package

The DI-158 is housed in a small plastic enclosure measuring 66D × 66W × 28H mm (2.6D × 2.6W × 1.1H inches).

WinDaq Software Included

The DI-158 data acquisition starter kit includes WinDaq/Lite recording software and WinDaq Waveform Browser playback and analysis software. An extra cost high speed acquisition version of WinDaq is available for these products that allows you to record at the speed of the instrument. WinDaq/Lite is limited to recording rates of 240 Hz throughput.

Try WinDaq/XL for 60 days

WinDaq/XL is a WinDaq Software add-on that allows you to port acquired data directly into a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet in real time. 60-day Trial Version now available.

Need More or Less?

Upgrade to a Data Logger system with Stand-alone capability. Record data directly to a Memory Card that is uploadable via Ethernet. The DI-710 Data Logger offers 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog channels with programmable gain ranges. Hardware options include Ethernet or USB interfaces, PGL or PGH gain settings, and Stand-alone Capability. Software included. Other products available. View the complete line.

The DI-148 is a lower-cost data acquisition system - but, with its 8 analog single-ended channels, up to 14,400 Hz sample rate, and 10-bit measurement resolution, you wouldn't think so. There has never been a more powerful data acquisition system for so little.
