DI-750/760 Series data acquisition instruments offer a full range of solutions for demanding industrial measurements. Each instrument in the family is fully integrated to provide high-level, signal conditioned, or a combination of both measurement types—without multiple boxes. DI-750/760 Series instruments conveniently attach to the printer port of any desktop or portable PC. Their built-in ADC allows sample rates of once per second to 250,000 samples per second in either triggered or continuous data acquisition modes. Best of all, plug-in DI-5B Series signal conditioning modules allow virtually any industrial measurement to be made with fail-safe, 600-volt input-to-output isolation. Never has it been easier to bring an instrument to a measurement site, or safer to make demanding industrial measurements with more flexibility than with these products.
Do you make measurements on the run? Our portable case is constructed of tough, nonconductive plastic. Its carrying handle and latching lid allow you to move the instrument to any measurement site with ease. Built-in 5-way binding posts (banana connector jacks) and screw terminals simplify signal connections in the field.
DI-750/760 Series instruments connect to the standard, bi-directional, or enhanced parallel port (EPP) of desktop, laptop, or notebook PC’s.
Select either 32 or 64 high-level input channels. Measurement range is programmable on a per channel basis from ±1.25 V to ±10 V full scale across four gain ranges.
Select from 16 to as many as 32 signal conditioned input channels—all within a single enclosure. DI-5B Series signal conditioning modules connect you to the entire spectrum of industrial measurements: VDC, VAC, Thermocouple, RTD, Frequency, Current, Potentiometer, and Strain. Built-in 600V input-to-output isolation lets you make any measurement you need under any circumstances.
Do you have a mix of high- and low-level requirements? DI-750/760 Series instruments allow up to 16 conditioned and 32 non-conditioned input signals to be connected at once.
Several DI-750/760 Series instruments can be "daisy chained" together to increase the total channel capacity. Up to 240 analog channels can be acquired by connecting combinations of DI-750/760 Series instruments together. When multiple DI-750/760 Series instruments are connected together, one instrument becomes the master instrument and all others become slave instruments. The master is always defined as the instrument connected directly to the PC (through the printer port interface). A slave is defined as an instrument that is connected to the master (or not connected directly to the PC). It is possible to have any number of slave instruments in a configuration (up to 240 total channels), but always only one master instrument.

| Description | These instruments are used as stand-alone master instruments. They can be expanded by adding slave instruments, but they can never be used as a slave instrument to another master. | These instruments have the most flexibility. They can be connected directly to the PC and used as stand-alone master instruments, or they can be connected as slave channel expansion instruments to other masters. | These instruments have no printer port interface, so they can never be configured as a master instrument (connected directly to the PC). They cannot be used stand-alone, they must be connected to a master instrument to be used. |
All DI-750/760 Series instruments are supplied with an adapter to operate from any convenient AC outlet. Or power the instruments from any 9 to 36V DC source.
Oversampling and signal averaging, minimum value, or maximum value burst reporting options provide excellent data reduction analysis techniques for many applications.
We provide WinDaq/Lite free with every DI-750/760 purchased without WinDaq/Pro or WinDaq/Pro+ software. WinDaq/Lite is a 16 channel version of WinDaq/Pro that works at the full sample rate of the DI-750/760, but is restricted to a maximum throughput of 240 Hz when recording to disk.
WinDaq Waveform Browser, our playback and analysis software for Windows, is distributed free with WinDaq/Lite and is included free with every WinDaq/Pro or WinDaq/Pro+ purchase. It is also available for download free-of-charge from this web site.
